Nothing like a little peaceful night out in the mountains. It was great to get away just the two us, so quiet and peaceful. We went up Payson canyon to Maple Lake and found a nice spot to set up camp. We ate dinner by the lake and walked around it after. Later when it was to dark for a walk we climbed in the tent. While we were laying there trying to go to sleep, we could hear walking around but we knew it wasn't people because we were the only ones in the area. We got out to check after hearing it for quite a while, and saw two big dear just hanging out in the trees. It ended up being a very cold night, next year I think we'll try and get there earlier in the summer.
The lake was kind of mossy and dirty looking, but it was really nice to just sit and relax. And I think we saw about a million fish jump.
I love this time of year when the leaves are starting to change color and the air is getting cooler.
